Katie Scott is the Program Director at the National Center for Family Philanthropy (NCFP). In her role, Katie manages NCFP Peer Networks and our Community Foundations Family Philanthropy Network. She connects the NCFP community to resources, tools, and peers. She also supports and helps design sessions and aspects of all signature NCFP workshops and training programs.

With more than two decades of experience, Katie has served the field of philanthropy within community foundations and a family foundation. She has worked in organizational effectiveness, youth philanthropy and next gen, capacity building, and programming. Katie has masters degrees in philanthropy and nonprofit management from Indiana University’s SPEA & Lilly Family School and a B.A. from Wittenberg University. Katie is originally from Illinois and lives with her husband and sons in Maryland.
