Katherine Scott is the Program Director at NCFP.  Katherine works on NCFP's community foundations programming, engaging the next generation, and connecting families to resources or others with similar experiences.

Katherine came to NCFP after a few years working at a family foundation remotely to lead a national network and capacity building effort, supporting youth engaging in philanthropy. Her experience includes having worked at community foundations across the country in Boston, San Diego, and Tucson on building knowledge platforms, connecting donors to nonprofits, capacity building, and organizational effectiveness. She holds a master’s degree in nonprofit management and philanthropy from Indiana University’s SPEA & Lilly Family School, and a bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University.
