Jason Born is the Vice President for Programs at NCFP. Jason heads NCFP’s programming activities and serves as the lead knowledge curator and creator of content for philanthropic families. Jason connects families looking for others to talk with who have walked down similar paths. He also designs and hosts NCFP's monthly Family Philanthropy Webinar series, and edits the Family Giving News e-newsletter and the Passages Issue Brief series.

Prior to NCFP, Jason served on the staff of the Melville Charitable Trust as the founding director for Funders Together to End Homelessness, the nation’s first affinity group focused on ending homelessness. He also previously held positions working with families at The Philanthropic Initiative in Boston and the Council on Foundations in Washington, DC. Jason has authored or edited more than 60 publications and reports on family philanthropy and related topics, has a master’s degree in economics from Tulane University and a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
