Christina Herzog is the director of education programs at Crown Family Philanthropies (CFP). She leads CFP’s education funding strategy and investments, which aim to ensure all young people in Chicago have equitable access to a high-quality education that prepares them for post-secondary and career success. CFP currently prioritizes its education investments in effective teachers and leaders; evidence-based supports on a student’s pathway from preschool to postsecondary success; and well-rounded learning experiences incorporating the arts.

Prior to joining CFP, Herzog led the Office of Management and Budget at Chicago Public Schools where she was responsible for the district’s budget and guiding its alignment with district priorities and policies. She began her career as a consultant with both KPMG and Deloitte.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago.
