Parking at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile:
Self-parking in the hotel’s garage, Row Self Park, is available for the NCFP National Forum attendees at a discounted rate of $27.00 per day. This garage is located at 50 East Ohio Street, at the corner of Ohio & Rush. Guests will be responsible for their own self-parking charges.
OVERNIGHT GUESTS:
Upon entering the parking garage, pull a ticket at the gate. Do not leave the ticket in your car – you will need to present this ticket for validation at the hotel as follows:
You will provide your parking ticket to the staff at the Valet Desk, located near the Rush Street entrance, Lobby Level, when you check-in and receive your room keys. The Valet Desk staff will validate your parking ticket on the spot. Without validation, no discount will be possible and you will be responsible for paying full price for parking when you exit the lot. Each time you exit the lot and re-enter, you will receive a new parking ticket and will need to repeat the process listed above in order to receive the discounted, hosted parking.
DAY GUESTS (NO HOTEL ROOM):
Upon entering the parking garage, pull a ticket at the gate. Do not leave the ticket in your car – you will need to present this ticket for validation at the NCFP National Forum Registration Desk. The Registration Desk staff will affix a validation sticker to your parking garage ticket that will reduce the daily parking charge to the discounted price of $27.00 per day. Repeat this process each day you attend the meeting. Without this validation sticker, no discount will be possible and you will be responsible for paying full price for parking when you exit the lot.
Valet parking is also available at the hotel’s main entrance on Rush Street. Valet parking is not discounted - guests will be charged the standard hotel parking rates.
Non-Solicitation Policy
To provide an environment where donors and those who work with them are able to share and learn from one another, NCFP maintains a non-solicitation policy at its National Forum on Family Philanthropy. While NCFP hopes its event can be a place for colleagues to connect and develop partnerships, the Forum should remain primarily a space for learning and networking. Solicitation includes, but is not limited to: requesting funding for any purpose, distributing grant proposals, or requesting business. Attendees should not use attendee lists for solicitation including to promote events held in conjunction of the Forum or thereafter. Any person and/or organization found to be violating this policy may be asked to leave without refund of registration fees, and may result in the inability to attend future NCFP events.
Anti-Harassment Policy
NCFP is dedicated to providing a harassment-free National Forum on Family Philanthropy experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, race, age, or, religion. We do not tolerate harassment of Forum attendees in any form. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal or physical harassment or the sustained disruption of Forum events.
You may make a report of harassment or solicitation to anyone with an NCFP staff name badge and our team will assist you. Alternatively, you may email Neil Sumilas at neil@ncfp.org.
