The Chicago Prize: A Place-Based Competition
Reception sponsored by the Pritzker Traubert Foundation
Brief program at 4:45pm

Join your colleagues and the Pritzker Traubert Foundation for light hors d'oeuvres and conversation about The Chicago Prize, a competition to award $10 million to an initiative on the South and/or West Side of Chicago that uses neighborhood development and revitalization to build and expand social capital, collaboration and cohesion. PTF will share its experiences launching a major challenge grant competition to incentivize collaboration and elevate strong leaders and compelling initiatives underway across the city.

PTF’s experience will be of particular interest to place-based foundations and anyone interested in using a challenge competition to improve their community.
