How do you identify and add non-family board members and how can you incorporate community perspectives while maintaining family legacy? An increasing number of family foundations have diversified their governance structures by adding non-family board members, or providing decision-making opportunities for community members and constituents. Bringing in new views and perspectives can help your family clarify your values and goals, and learn from outside expertise and community voices. This hands-on workshop will help you better understand how to prepare your foundation and how to engage non-family leaders.
