How do philanthropic families with multiple generations of family members participating in three or more connected philanthropic vehicles – successfully manage their family dynamics as they fulfill their governance responsibilities to guide these complex philanthropic activities? This session will include lessons learned from this groundbreaking research project and recommendations for the broad range of philanthropic families who are facing increasingly challenging governance dilemmas in their complex systems.
