Capturing and sharing your family’s history — in particular, the story of the founders — is critical to 1) understanding and appreciating your philanthropy and 2) providing a window into this rich heritage for the extended family, including the younger generations. This session examines both the why and how of capturing your family legacy, sharing examples from a range of family foundations and addressing the challenges they faced, and overcame, along the way.
